David Schmidt — Inventor of LifeWave Phototherapy Patches
David Schmidt began LifeWave with a single mission: discover a way for the US Navy to keep elite operators alert and effective for extended periods — without drugs, stimulants, or anything entering the body. The result was the first LifeWave Energy Enhancer patch, which used reflected wavelengths of light to influence cellular energy production. It worked. From there, Schmidt expanded the platform into sleep, pain, recovery, glutathione, carnosine, and finally — the breakthrough X39 patch that elevates GHK-Cu, the body's master regenerative copper peptide.

Phototherapy-Induced Metabolism Change Produced by the LifeWave X39 Non-Transdermal Patch
Double-blind randomized controlled trial of 50 subjects. Results showed an increase in 8 amino acids at significant levels, improvement in short-term memory over 7 days, improvement in sleep quality within 24 hours, and a self-reported increase in vitality. Findings suggest the patch stimulates copper-peptide biosynthesis and neurotransmitter production.

Randomized double-blind controlled trial in 60 subjects aged 40–80. Results demonstrate that X39 elevated GHK and GHK-Cu peptide levels by approximately 40% within seven days, compared with placebo which showed no changes.
